Alex Otti understands the principle of fervent prayers that was why it was impossible to rig him out.
Donald Trump received fervent prayers from the American church. He is a man of prayer himself. That was how Elon Musk became involved with him and favored him. Elon Musk, just so you know, was against Donald Trump before 2024. Upon all the funds mismanaged by the USAID, the Republican Party still won. It was really miraculous. Fervent prayer in action. As it happened in Abia State, it happened in America. This is the missing puzzle in Peter Obi's grotesque defeat. Even El Rufai came out to claim that Peter Obi won. Ignore the unimaginable power of fervent prayers at your peril. Work, invent, innovate, build, yet engage fervent prayers, like Donald Trump, Alex Otti and Elon Musk.
Even the richest man on earth Elon Musk,
Tesla CEO, gets down on his knees to pray. Kneeling down to pray shows
fervency. Isn't it obvious?
Fervent prayers are the most powerful
prayers. Fervent is ektenos in Greek, which refers to strenuous, to stretch
out, intense, passionate, zeal-full condition of the body and mind while placing
a demand from God or from life. Luke, a doctor, in his narrative observed that
the sweat of Jesus Christ while praying in Gethsemane were like drops of blood,
a medical condition experts refer to Hematidrosis.
Fervent prayers require cries and tears.
It must come from your soul and spirit but show in your countenance. You can't
be pressing your phone and be engaged in fervent prayers. You must desire the
change, a response, a divine intervention, a real-time attention.
In his fervent prayers, Jesus Christ
prayed with few words, but in most cases, he wept with loud cries which is a
complete depiction of fervency: "In the days of His flesh, He offered up
both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to
save Him from death, and He was heard because of His piety" (Hebrew
5:7).Today, many believe you should not be crying while praying. They think
fervent prayers are quiet prayers. No. The simplest prayers may require just
cries and tears. Hannah prayed and cried. That's how she got Samuel, and all
her children.
Fervent prayers are prayed alone. Jesus
Christ prayed alone. In Matthew 14:23 it was written that "After He had
sent the crowds away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray; and when
it was evening, He was there alone".
Fervent Prayers require that you fold
your head in-between your knee until the rain begins to drop like Elijah did.
Imagine such a weird move: "And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go, eat
and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.” So, Ahab went off to
eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of
Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees.
"1King 18:41-42. Some translation says he crouched down on the earth.
Fervent prayer doesn't take no for an answer. That is the portrait of fervent,
'motherfucking' faith. He had dominion over the element. He demanded on his
knees for the rain to fall. Many times, he kept at it.
Fervent Prayers require that you pray
all-night. Paul and Silas prayed all night. Jesus Christ did so many prayers
all night. Alone, in his case. In Luke 6:12 it was recorded that "It was
at this time that He went off to the mountain to pray, and He spent the whole
night in prayer to God".
Peter Obi was castigating those who pray
all-night, which shows he is ignorant of the mystery of fervent prayers. Whole
night? God's son? That's why he caried God's presence so much that demons
recognized him, and there were instances where a demon possessed person
couldn't get healed by his disciples, but he was able to vast out that demon.
When he was asked, he said, howbeit this kind cometh not except by prayer and
fasting. (Matthew 17:21). That's why he commanded fishes to flow into the net
and they obeyed. Some work all day with no result. But with fervent prayers,
the unbelievable happens.
Fervent prayer requires fasting.
Sometimes fasting from food, fasting from work, fasting from sex with your
spouse, fasting from social media, fasting from friends, fasting from meat,
fasting from your comfort by stepping into the mountains, most times sharing
your clothes, food, cars, money. The first two occasions I gave out cars was in
a state of prayer and fasting. It will cost you pain. Do you think fasting is
just abstinence? Every week i try to give out something. I have been fasting
every Thursday since 1999. Fasting that does not involve charity is boring and
barren (Isaiah 58). Fervent prayer shows in your life of fasting.
Fervent prayers have few words. When
prayer is simple it carries extraordinary power because the faith that backs
the loaded words is backed with knowledge and certainty. "Lazarus come
forth". "Damsel, rise". "Ephrathah". "Come out of
him". "Go, your faith has made you whole". Behind fervent prayer
there is a force, a dynamic personality in touch with the King of Kings, who
has legitimate authority of the worlds, and has given it to those who believe.
Fervent prayer is a transaction that is
based on a relationship. A request received. Any fervent prayer can be
answered. Nothing is impossible to the fervent prayer warrior. A fervent prayer
requires constantly looking unto Jesus Christ. Even Peter and John kept the
hour of prayer. They were in the upper room praying fervently before the
Pentecost. After they had the Holy Spirit that fervency was maintained. There
is no way you constantly refuse to spend time in prayer, and you want to be
able to win bigger battles.
The battle before Peter Obi needed
something bigger than the court, bigger than money, bigger than luck, bigger
than the Obidient movement. He needed a kind of fervent prayer that would cause
the INEC boss to run crazy if he attempted to rig the election in 2023.
Unfortunately, he missed that in 2023.
He neglected fervent prayers. Don't be like Peter Obi. Nigeria is not a
catholic enclave. This is a battle zone. Alex Otti knew better.
Peter Obi courted the church but was
disgusted by the fervent prayers of the Nigerian church. An oxymoron. It showed
in his commentaries months after the election. What a way to appreciate the
church. What a way to encourage industry and diligence. He could not condemn
excessive clubbing at night, excessive waste of money abroad by politicians
which leads to resource scarcity and poverty, a paramount rationale behind the
constant crying of our people to God. What does Peter Obi look on to?
Funke Felix-Adejumo, on a day she
visited House on the Rock, said that "You look like what you look
at."
Looking at the word of God in the moment
of prayer is key to the release of faith without which prayer is meaningless.
Fervent prayer is predicated on
believing in the word of God. Constant looking at the word. 'Just say the word
and your servant shall be healed'. A mere Centurion knew that. Who taught
him that? That statement is deep, rejuvenating and in the case of Mary and
Martha, it exactly contradicts the truth of the word. They were looking at the
ugly situation, when they should have been looking unto the word himself, Jesus
Christ and what he has to say, as the centurion did.
It's not over, "Who is he that
would harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?" Letter to the
Galatians. It is not over for you. Engage the word. Pray fervently.
Fervent prayer is fearless. In the face
of the battle of life, you look at Jesus Christ, the resurrection and life,
without fear. You declare: "I am too big for this challenge; Satan get
off."
Before Alex Otti's victory in Abia State
Nigeria he and his people were in fasting and prayers for weeks. The INEC
officer in Abia State, Professor Nnenna Oti, had a similar surname with Alex
Otti. That is not a coincidence. They were not related. Professor Nnenna
recalled that she said to herself, "If I perish, I perish. They came with
their money. They came with their intimidation." That statement
lifted from the cry of Esther, a praying woman, shows she was a woman of fire
too. Fire begets fire. Fervent prayer brought her to Abia State. Abia State was
the only state where Labour Party was declared winner despite the fact that it
was the most popular party amongst the 18-55 demography in Nigeria in 2023.
Abia saw a miraculous turn of events because of the fervent prayers of Alex
Otti, his team and that of Prof Nnenna Oti. She was invited to Abuja because of
her boldness. Yet she remained unmoved. In Lagos where Peter Obi won at the
federal level, the young LP candidate was never allowed to win. But for Otti,
they could not rig him out. The professor refused to take bribe in Nigeria. It
was a result of fervent prayers.
You can say it is luck. Nothing really
happens by luck for a man of fervent prayers. After Alex Otti's victory, the
state entered into 7 days of fasting. Was that by luck too? That is showing in
his result. You can argue with yourself.
Fervent prayers are those with few words
but with unimaginable power.
