PATRIOTISM

GEJ has been the most patriotic president in Nigeria, without claiming it. Most people who claim to be patriotic in Nigeria are scoundrels. They are pugnacious. They lie to themselves. Deep down they know it. They also know that patriotism in Nigeria is one-sided. Igbos who claim to be patriotic when their people in power involve in an imbroglio are so impish. They just want to aspire to sainthood by all means. Check their history they have been saboteurs from primary school. How i wish they can meditate a little and realise how disgusting they sound to their dead forefathers and to angels in heaven. If you cannot see the witchcraft in the attack of the best Aviation minister Nigeria has ever had, check your High BP. Somebody does not want you to even survive and you are joining forces with him without thinking. That is pure hate.

Just read Obasanjo’s second letter which he addressed to the PDP National Chairman. He has told us all his main source of anger. Buruji Kashamu is his threat in South West PDP. He should have had meetings with his party members to amicably resolve the issue, but rather, on the grounds of patriotism, he wants the fellow to be removed so that he can put his person there. That is not patriotism. You must not blackmail your party, Oduah or Ngozi so as to get some points in the name of patriotism.

Charles de Gaulle argued that “patriotism is when love of your own people comes first; nationalism, when hate for people other than your own comes first”. That is true. He just described the concept.  If you do not understand where he’s coming from you may well study the opposite of what he said in the life of Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe. Although, better than most, he was the first amongst his friends to pan-Africanize every issue, yet he never thought of building one hospital, one University, or library in his home town. For Igbos, Chukwuemeka Ojukwu is even more celebrated than him. Why? Ojukwu was more focused on liberating his people than the whole world. That is patriotism. You cannot liberate Nigeria without starting from your village. Ojukwu had to hate nationalism to focus on his people. Patriotism.

 You are not patriotic when you hate your own blood on the grounds of justice. They will reject you as they rejected Rochas and co. If we must practice patriotism, I want to see educated and uneducated Yoruba men tell Tinubu to resign from partisan politics and return all the salary government paid to him for forgery and misleading the whole country. I want to see them tell FFK to resign from politics since he is an acclaimed drug addict. I want them to tell Obasanjo, it is enough, we know you are not clean. Also, I want to see Northerners who asked Odimegwu to resign to also tell Sanusi to resign, since Sanusi did worst compared to Odimegwu. Where have they been since? They are not patriotic. They are evil tribalists. I want to see all those news houses who published Oduah’s bullet proof issue to also publish the same purchases in Osun state, Lagos state and Ekiti State, where more public funds were used to purchase LandCruiser Bullet proof vehicles.Where have they been since? They are not patriotic. They are evil tribalists. Patriotism must be a selfless engagement. You must not blackmail another to be patriotic.


Why are they are only patriotic when Igbos are involved? I pity all of you Igbos that have joined forces with other tribes. Your fathers were amongst those Igbo soldiers who planned to kill Ojukwu. Unpatriotic puppets. Saboteurs.
