The Woman Behind Facebook's Success

Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook Chief  Operating Officer, Merrissa Meya, Yahoo CEO, Angela Merkel, the German counsellor, and most fabulous of all, Ginni Rometty , Fortune's 2013 Most Powerful Woman in Business, are amongst the women in management whose ferocious management intelligence remain sparklingly splendid and splendidly sparkling. Fortunes Most Powerful Women (MPW) list offers a diverse range of powerful women who have made it big in management. Are Nigerian women making the top list any time soon?

Women bring to the table new ideas that refurbish the business world. They  reiterate the need to involve women in management decision making. They think future. They think culture. They think nurture. And without future, culture and nurture no business can grow.Women really want to be involved as they are endowed with ideas that can complement the structural views of men. In Nigeria and Africa, we need more women in management decision-making positions. After working with women in high management position, i can say they are quite wonderful. They think, think and think. They have the eye for the future, the touch for culture and the nose and ears for nurturing the business.

Women bring something different in business meetings. Having women around may not translate to better decisions but it brings the talents of women on board. Men in board meetings should stop being frightened of bringing women closer to learn from them. Is this still a man's world; or are men in business afraid of female power?

'The Anatomy of Female Power' still fresh on my mind....... Women who know where they are are always good managers. Women who do not know where they are are always where they are not supposed to be. Men in business must find out those women who know where they are. They always help to push the business where its true vision is leading, towards success.

Below is the woman behind Facebook's success. She is No. 5 on the Fortune MPW 2013. She is in deed very intelligent. Women have power, as a man , do not ignore this.
