Brutality, death, please leave our literature professors alone.The speed, the siren, the driver, the government and the quiet masses will answer one day. We will all answer the question : why did Festus Iyayi die like he did? What pursues the government officials i do not know. Why do they drive so recklessly? Was the death of Festus an accident? Never.
Prof Achebe was gruesomely wounded by a so called accident in Nigeria that left him on wheel chair until his death. In Kenya few weeks ago, Kofi Awoonor was also taken from us, brutally. Few days ago, Festus was taken as well. The hero was brutally murdered. Simples.....
