Dirty Sex, its Popularity and Influence on Power

Sex is a beautiful thing. Sex is something that is capable of removing bitterness and malady from a heart on the verge of detonation. In politics, as you will get to understand, adultery can never be avoided. The plot of David’s adultery with Bathsheba, another man’s wife, has been used for countless of day time dramas due to its thematic and sex-a-blaze oomph. When David was seduced by the nude Bathsheba, he went in with the irresistible but vulnerable woman; and even went ahead to marry the adulterous woman. When Clinton was seduced by Lewinsky, he went in with the irresistible and vulnerable woman, a political sex scandal that emerged in 1998. You can never be in power without the possible corruption of the flesh, permit me to generalise.

However, the question is, why is this thing so gorgeous and sugary, regarded as adultery when married people engage in it? If you look at the sound and semiotics of that word, you can relate with its monstrous aesthetics. Words like incest, concubinage, theft, fornication, barbarous harlotry, and rape have been in the black books of the mind since the beginning of language. Unlike linguists, semioticists study how these meanings emerge from culture. Amongst these cultural words, adultery claims the superior mettle due to its irremovable despoliation in civilization. It has crippled nations, fabricated corruption and institutionalised sudden deaths in every sector of power and the society. In fact, most men will never allow their wives to join politics because they will more likely watch in broad daylight as a woman of virtue suddenly depletes in respect, sense, sensibility, morality, ideology, culture and in grace. Such as most men in power has been seen to depreciate.

It is not quite easy for women in power to curtail their sexual combustion. It is part of the game. They have to let it loose no matter how old they are. The question is, why?
                                          *    *    *
Politics is one of the most perverse professions that require intense trust, intimacy, multiple favours, close door interactions, midnight and one-to-one anecdotes, cult relationships and massive promiscuous party relationships. Culture of sex in politics is more hoax than sexual activities in the ultra-conservative hotels of slags in the middle-east. Prostitution, booze, bars, alcohol, and sex are features of politics. Women in politics are more likely to give their bodies to the uppermost in power as a token of appreciation. The cult-like relationships in politics make it very hard for successful marriages to thrive. Stolen money in politics breaks the banks and gates of morality. When the gate of honesty is broken, sex becomes an effortless whim attached to a nonchalant craving. This is because adultery is first an act of betrayal, a dishonest bustle. It’s deceit that gives birth to adultery. This is what I call immoral relativism. If one is capable of belonging to a cult in other to become a woman or man of power, if one is capable of deceiving another, it is then easier to steal money, have sex with whoever, and damn the consequences. This is why adultery is rampant amongst politicians and elites. In fact, to them it is not adultery. They are having fun, as they say.

Nevertheless, indeed, adultery refers to an act of adulteration. It is the adulteration of sex. It is not fun in the real sense of the word, but for the average person who enrols in adultery sites, it is so sweet. You cannot begin to imagine how a plethora of adultery sites are now soaring in profits. In just one week an Adultery site signs up 12,000 Hongkongers. Sad. Vanguard of  December 12 , 2012, reported that history has shown that several powerful men were involved in adultery : "The list of great leaders and heroes who fell for adultery include Shakespeare, Albert Einstein, John F Kennedy, Dwight D Eisenhower, John Edwards, Tim Mahoney, Paul Wolfowitz, Randall Tobias, Bill Clinton, and now David Petreaus, all of them, great super-achievers." One special feature of an adulterer is his or her lips. The book of Proverbs argues that  the lips of the adulteress drip honey, her speech is smoother than oil, but in the end she is bitter as gall, sharp as double edged sword, her feet go down to death and her steps lead straight to grave; she gives no thought to the way of life; her paths are crooked, but she knows it not. Only the simple get caught! (Proverbs 5:3-6,). It is important to add that the society has more fury and anger for adulterous women than for the 'menulterers.'

Although, most female politicians are known adulterers, yet around the world today, adultery has become more common than marital sex. Adultery refers to an act of violation of the sex code. It depletes the cellular energy that builds the sperm for reproduction. This is why it is the supreme propeller of guilt. It is even criminal. It mocks the sublimity of love; like jackstraws, it is a get-together of unrelated bodies; it is the democratisation of sex. In politics, as in life, it has placed most women in power and misplaced most who refuse to grant it. Dangerous men are mostly influenced by women who can sexually appease their profligacy. This is the reason politicians and rich people are generally polygamists. Those great women who are not ready to give sex have been abandoned. Sad. Sex. Sex. Sex – the nurse of politics and political promotion!
