Prof. Soyinka said ‘they should eliminate religion’.
What a scandalous opinion. This means all of us that believe in God should be
removed. I think I am beginning to doubt why i got his book recently- ‘Ibadan
–The Penkeleme Years’: a book
rather pedantic and written in an extremely self-absorbed manner. This
self-burial and solipsism describes his dramaturgy and his discussions about religion;
without considering the all-encompassing good religion has fetched. That people
who breathe commit crimes; should we then ban everybody from breathing? Science, technology and education grew
profoundly on the ocean of religion. Anyway, everybody has the right to talk.
Anyway, he was begotten and groomed by a religious mother. Anyway, he went
through a school built by religion. Any-ways he also studied in a religious
country like Britain. Religious nations offered him the Nobel Prize. Whenever I
SEE a Nigerian who has doubts on the communal inter-subjectivity and reason for
religion, I introduce them to Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka. This man is a Christian,
publicly relevant and a religious man at that! If you don’t believe in God, go on-line and enquire how the ‘Mbaka of God’ was shot and God defended the bullets
shot against him. My brother and my sister, No bullet can touch you! The
scandalus crucis (scandal of the cross) positions you as co-heirs with the
word! Mbaka does charity, he heals, and he is logos-centred. In the beginning
was the word and word was with God and the word was in MBAKA! And the word is
in ME and YOU!
"This miraculous escape
should be a message to the Enugu State government that darkness can never
prevail over light. Whoever is digging a grave for me, will fall into the grave
himself. The Holy Bible on the dash board of the vehicle trapped the bullets
fired at me. There is power in the Bible. If you don't have a Bible, go now and
buy one". MBAKA to Governor Nnamani.
MBAKA: God is proud of you!
