PAPA NOAH’s ARK: HETERODOXY AND APOSTASY OF THE PROSPERITY GOSPEL

By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.  (Hebrews 11:7)

On faith, Enrique Palacio argues that “true faith is demonstrated in deeds. In other words, faith must be manifested in the way we live, act and behave”. If a man is rich and he cannot apply the work of charity as Christ commanded the young rich man  the person has no faith! If a corporation or church is rich, it must apply the same measure. According to Forbes the Vatican is worth about $15 billion, Winners Chapel is worth over $150m, Redeem Christian Church of God and most of the popular church organisations are mega rich that they can meet the expense of billions of properties and Jets. Nevertheless they are predominantly preaching against abortion and condom, while those that are born already are dying of hunger and disease. They are not actually setting example for the followers. God will ask us questions if we see all these incongruities without saying them. The churches and all of us Christians are not doing enough charity. That is the truth. Apostolic heterodoxy is why the world is in this pain. One day all these heretic monies these churches are banking will be destroyed; why can’t we begin to share the wealth amongst these African children and poor believers in sub-Saharan Africa?

It is God's command to always obey him. Noah gave evidence of this reality when he heard God's command and acted upon it. For many, many years Noah built in faith. No signs of rain or destruction were there. But he built and waited. Our lord Jesus Christ compares the end times with the days of Noah, "As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man."  (Matthew 24:37-39).
