THE GREATEST CHURCH EVER FOUNDED
Brethren, intellectuals, colleagues and leaders, I am mandated to challenge you by the spirit of God to point you to the greatest church that ever existed: It is not Yongi Cho's church which was once the biggest church on earth; it is not Living Faith Church led by the richest pastor on earth; it is not the Roman Catholic Church; it is never Deeper Life Church; it is never the Anglican Church; it is never Mountain of Fire and Prayer; it is never Christ Embassy; these are not what I am led to see in the spirit.
God is pointing everyone who would come in touch with this epistle to the church in the Acts of Apostles. God is telling you to go print the Acts of Apostles now. You must do it. Everyone of you must go back and pick the Acts. The Acts of Apostles. Check your Acts. Is there any redemptive resemblance? You cannot afford to play with this commandment : Read the Acts of the Apostles daily. Give it to your Children. Give it to your neighbors. Give it to your brothers in the faith. Give it to your children in the Lord : Those in Sunday School, those in academic seminaries, those in discipleship stages — must be asked to gently peruse the Acts of Apostles.
Ask them to read it daily as their spiritual food. Many will stumble into a revival. Many will jump out of the grave of sin, sickness and suffering. As they see the acts of God, amongst the Greatest Church ever, their faith will be radicalised.. Let them meditate on those pages of flames. The fire is contagious and catalytic. It will calibrate their destinies and harmonise with the music of God's eternal purpose.
Let them ask themselves as they digest the nutritious food: Are we loving one another as the Church in Acts of Apostle? Are we preaching daily and praying continuously as they did? Are we being called The Way? From Acts 1- Acts 28 : we all shall see where we started, where we are and where we are supposed to be.
We need to ask ourselves: Are we enriching ourselves or God's work as we behold in the Acts of Apostles?
We must ask ourselves as we assimilate the diet : Are we operating under the same unction the Greatest Church, the first Church, worked with after the Big Bang in Acts 2?
Remember that the greatest miracle after ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven was the descension of the Holy Spirit on the Church, like fire, like a Big Gang, filling 120 believers who spoke in tongues—resulting in 3,000 converts in one day.
This is the greatest miracle in the Acts which was the fulfillment of Joel 2 and Jesus’ promise (Acts 1:8), launching global evangelism. There wouldn't have been any Church without Pentecost fire 🔥. The vehicle of the Church is the Holy Ghost.
Is that same Jesus Christ, in the person of the Holy Ghost, the Wonderful, Counselor, still in our hearts and Church today, as he was in the Acts of Apostles?
In the Acts of Apostles Paul’s conversion (Acts 9) was the most transformative for missions. Jesus Christ spoke to Saul, converting into a General in the Lord's Army.
In the Acts of the Resurrections of Tabitha/Eutychus most dramatically mirror Christ’s resurrection power transmitted through His spirit at Pentecost. (Acts 9:36-42)
In Acts Peter’s Shadow caused Mass Healings (Acts 5:12-16). A marvelous display of the glory of the Greatest Church.
In the Acts of Apostles Philip was supernaturally transported (Acts 8:39-40)
After baptizing the Ethiopian eunuch, Philip vanished and reappeared 30+ miles away by the Spirit’s power. A rare teleportation miracle, showing God’s dominion over space/time for evangelism. A replication of Jesus's boat teleportation in the Gospels.
In Peter’s Prison Break (Acts 12:5-11) which I preached on this morning: An angel unlocked Peter’s chains and walked him past guards—while the Church prayed fervently, continuously until Peter knocked on the door of Mary's house. Impossible strongholds can be broken through continuous prayer.
Paul & Silas’ Jailquake (Acts 16:25-34) supports that claim that continuous prayer can change the impossible. At midnight, their worship triggered an earthquake, freeing prisoners and converting the jailer’s household. Are we a worshipping church today? Are we reluctant? Have we forgotten that praise is a weapon that shakes spiritual and physical prisons?
Paul resurrected Eutychus in Acts 20:7-12.
Eutychus, a young man fell to his death during Paul’s long sermon—but Paul raised him back to life effortlessly. Do we have the same Holy Spirit Paul had? This was replicated in Idahosa's ministry when a woman broke her head and died during a crusade. By the unction of the Holy Ghost the brain shattered in the floor was repackaged before the exclaiming witnesses. Have you seen this kind of sign in your work with God?
In Acts, Paul’s immunity to a Snake Venom (Acts 28:3-6) is a testament of the power of protection we have over every poison and venom in this world. A viper bit Paul, but he shook it off unharmed, astonishing Maltese witnesses. Are our churches experiencing this level of preservation?
Are we fulfilling Jesus’ promise in Mark 16:18 and showcasing divine protection? In this era of bandits, we need a new weapon of power and protection that will turn these terrorists to God.
🔥 Key Lesson: "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you" (Acts 1:8).
Let’s go back to the Greatest Church. Go to Acts of Apostles. Now! The power is there waiting for us.
