This Sunday has been quite wonderful for me. It started with a miracle; the knowledge of the fact that the SSS stopped Sanusi from travelling to Saudi Arabia for Hajj. God is indeed kind even in Kano. But I want to implore you to reason with me on this. Please, please, please, please, please, do not blame religion for the woes of this world even when you see that religious people are involved in any given situation that is awful to behold. I want you to believe St Paul for once: “the love of money is the root of all evil” (1 Timothy 6:10). It is never Religion. One day a Penticostal Bishop quarrelled with me when I explained him this biblical exactitude.
Also your pastor lied to you when he said to you that Christianity is not a religion. It is a great lie such as the popular lie that ‘money answereth all things’; misinterpreted scripture. James 1:27 says that pure and unadulterated religion is to take care of the poor. That was exactly what Jesus did. Jesus was religious. Exactly what any follower of Christ should do. We have no business storing so much money, wanting so much money that we fail to love God and man. You see it in the attitude of terrorists on our soil. Somebody behind them wants to make so much trillions in Nigeria either via commerce or political power.
The synonyms of money are wealth, fortune, assets, power, substance, resources, affluence, and liquid. And I want you to take these two definitions of money in the context of Paul’s admonition:
1. “ a current medium of exchange in the form of coins and banknotes; coins and banknotes collectively ”.

"the college is very short of money".
Wars, terrorism, and threats- even the one between America and Russia- are just based on love for money. People, many people, due to Sanusi’s religious affiliations blame him for the increase in terrorism on our soil but should we forget that service chiefs, some ministers and several politicians from the northern region have been sacked as well and are aggrieved by PDP as well? From the spectre of theories surrounding the attacks of terrorists on our soil it is obvious that anybody insulting Muslims is not well informed. Bill Gates has been accused of financing the destruction of the huge farms in Northern Nigeria so that his Agricultural business will flourish in Nigeria. The CIA has been accused of supplying them arms so as to remain in control of the oil economy through their popular destabilisation theory. Northern political elites who even do not go to mosques at all have been accused of the thing as well. Everybody involved has interest in Nigeria’s money as they did in Libya.
The problem is not religion or money. Love of money. USA. Terrorism. The three greatest problems of this world created by the first; the love of money!
